This is a full page two sided handout for forums and other events related to the Voter Amendment. On the first page is documented MN's leadership in having an election system which comes closer to the one person one vote ideal of democracy. The handout explains the main things that Minnesota does to achieve this goal. On the back is an explanation of how the amendment would change Minnesota from the state that has minimized obstacles to voting to the state that has the greatest barriers to voting. Safeguards in MN's Top Notch Election System
Minnesota has a top of the line centralized database for voter registration. The voter registration database is continually updated from information from the Social Security, Driver and Vehicle, Postal Change of Address, list of felons who have not had their voting rights reinstated, and list of residents who are not citizens.
